Communication with Parents and Carers

We use an online app called ParentHub. You can download this onto your iOs or Android mobile phone. This is the main way the school office and class teachers send messages to classes, and individual parents.

Our school’s handle is @AstonPS- you’ll need to follow this channel when you download the app and create an account.

Holidays and Leave of Absence

School does not authorise holidays during term time. If you wish to apply for leave of absence due to exceptional circumstances,
please apply via the online form.

Please ensure you have read the guidance and accompanying notes before submitting an application. This must be done at least 2 weeks in advance of the time period you are applying for.

Medical Appointments

If you need to take your child out of school to attend a medical appointment (Including GP, Dental, Hospital etc), you must complete an online form to inform us at least 3 days beforehand where possible.

For same day appointments, please email or call the school office first and then complete a form.
