Children at Aston on Trent Primary School love art and design! The National Curriculum provides us with a basis of skills and techniques that the children will learn from Reception to Year 6. We use fantastic art and design topics from 'Kapow' to inspire our children’s imagination and enhance creativity through drawing, painting, sculpture, craft and textile, to help children to understand and respond to the world around them. Art has very strong cross-curricular links with the rest of the curriculum and provides an excellent showcase for the fantastic work our children produce.
