  • Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)

At Aston on Trent Primary School, we are committed to offering a broad, balanced and ambitious curriculum to ensure the best possible progress for all our pupils.

Our school is committed to a policy of inclusion: one in which the teaching, learning, achievements, attitudes and well-being of all children matter, including those identified as having special educational needs or disabilities.

This is fully underpinned by our vision of 'Achieving success for all', along with our values of being 'Ready, Respectful and Resilient.

Our SENDCO is Miss Katie Davis. The email address is kdavis@aston-on-trent.derbyshire.sch.uk or you can contact her via the school office by calling 01332 799478 or emailing enquiries@aston-on-trent.derbyshire.sch.uk

Many parents specifically praise the high-quality provision for pupils with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND). Parents are right to recognise this strength. The school has a strong spirit of inclusion and pupils with SEND are very well supported.
